How can Realtors market to FSBOs using Property Websites?
You can create a Property Site and turn on the FSBO Option to make the site a FSBO site and use it to Market to your FSBO.
The marketing goal of this feature is to allow you to provide your FSBO with a Single Property Site for their home, and use this genuine offer of high-perceived-value service and assistance as a mechanism for building a relationship!
To create a FSBO site, follow these steps:
- Simply build the site as normal (go and take some photos of the FSBO’s property, get the old data from the MLS etc).
- EDIT the site and find the FSBO icon. Click this icon and go to the FSBO Options panel.
- Fill in this form and add in the name and contact details of the FSBO (don’t worry if you don’t have them all, you can always come back and re-do this).This will then replace all the ‘Contact Details’ in the site with their details rather than yours. AND, at the foot of the page, it will say the Service is provided by you rather than Single Property Sites. Although the FSBO gets the inquiries, you will be copied (via email) on all inquiries that come in from the site.
- Send the FSBO a Free-View, or go and see them and show them what a fabulous job you have done.
- If they like it and welcome the help, then get the domain name for them too and a sign rider (well you may decide not to get this). They’ll think you are amazing!
When the property still doesn’t sell then of course they may be more ready to talk to you about the professional assistance you can provide them.
